Due to our continued growth, we require an experienced upholsterer to join our existing upholstery team on a full time, permanent basis.
Working Hours:
Monday – Thursday 7am – 4.30pm
Friday 7am – 11.00am
Breaks:
Two 15-minute breaks (unpaid)
One 30-minute break (paid)
Responsibilities:
To upholster various items of furniture from the frame up to finished items.
•
Use a variety of tools such as staple guns & drills, in addition to hand tools to manufacture a wide range of furniture.
•
Read and follow upholstery specifications, drawings, and production instructions.
•
Repair or re-upholster existing furniture when required.
•
Complete work to a high-quality standard whilst meeting deadlines.
•
Work with the production team to achieve the production schedule.
•
Observe Health and Safety regulations, being careful to look after yourself and others whilst at work.
Skills Required:
Previous experience in furniture upholstery (minimum 1 year preferred).

Strong understanding of upholstery techniques including cutting, sewing, padding, webbing, fitting, and finishing.
•
Ability to use upholstery tools and machinery safely and correctly.
•
Good attention to detail with the ability to produce high quality finishes.
•
Strong problem solving ability when working with complex or bespoke pieces.
•
Good time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
